the phone sends an emergency tag to the network provider in case of emergency which allows the user to make dat particular call for free
after 1100 Nokia all phones manufactured now have a 5 digit limit to the editable number list in the phone emergency memory.

Increase you downloadng speed:24Online users
Increase you downloadng speed:24Online users
This was an old trick that stopped working a few months ago. Its an old one, but I guess many new members might not be knowing this trick. So thought of sharing it.
This trick works like gem for 24 Online Client users, and doesn't involve any great cheat or concept. Just that some ports remain open even after you exit the software.
So lets begin
* You should have Internet Download Manager installed in your machine. Get it from: http://katz.cd/search/internet+download+manager
* Inser links in it..like rapidshare download links, and start downloading.
* If you have limited the download speed, remove download speed limit, and wait for all parts in IDM to receive data.
* when all parts start receiving data, just right click 24 Online Client in right side of the task bar and EXIT it.
After sometime, you will notice a whopping increase in the downloading speed. I am using an 128kbps internet connection, and I normally receive a downloading speed of 250KB/s
When IDM shows SEND Get, relogin again in 24 Online Client, wait until all parts start receiving data again..and then again EXIT the program.
I know its a repeating process, but as long as you are getting sexy downloading speed...Labour should hardly matter to you

The Medicine when Folder option vanishes Method
1: Here's how you can get Folder Options back..
1: Open Start menu and from there select Run
2: type gpedit.msc and hit enter
3: now in the Group Policy window, from the left pane, select user configuration->Administrative Tempelates->windows components->Windows Explorer by highlighting it with the mouse cursor..
4: now in the right side you will see an option which says "Removes the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu"
5: right click on this option and select properties
6: now in the properties under Setting tab, select Disabled and hit OK

How to Convert FAT to NTFS file system
To convert a FAT partition to NTFS, perform the following steps.
Click Start, click Programs, and then click Command Prompt.
In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type cmd and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type CONVERT [driveletter]: /FS:NTFS.
Convert.exe will attempt to convert the partition to NTFS.
NOTE: Although the chance of corruption or data loss during the conversion from FAT to NTFS is minimal, it is best to perform a full backup of the data on the drive that it is to be converted prior to executing the convert command. It is also recommended to verify the integrity of the backup before proceeding, as well as to run RDISK and update the emergency repair disk (ERD).
Click Start, click Programs, and then click Command Prompt.

Add sound to almost every event in Windows
XP comes with a new set of sounds that will surely add pizzazz to the way you work in Windows. But there's one problem -- you need to actually turn on the Windows default sound scheme before you'll be able to hear them.
To turn on the Windows XP default sound scheme, follow these directions:
Single-click the Start menu.
Single-click the Control Panel.
Single-click the Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices icon.
Single-click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon or the text labeled "Change the sound scheme."
Make sure you're on the Sound tab and locate the pull-down menu under Sound scheme.
Select the Windows Default option and press Apply. Windows will ask you if you want to save the previous sound scheme. Since there wasn't a sound scheme already loaded, just choose No.
If you look under the text labeled "Program events," you'll be able to sample your new sounds or customize them with your own. Read Customize Events Sounds if you'd like to learn how to do this yourself.

change your ip
1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in "command" and hit ok
You should now be at an MSDOS prompt screen.
4. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit "enter"
5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.
7. Click on "properties"
You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.
8. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "properties"
9. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab
10. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).
12. Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.
13. Hit the "Ok" button here
14. Hit the "Ok" button again
You should now be back to the "Local Area Connection" screen.
15. Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"

20. You now have a new IP address
2. Click on "Run"

Lock Your Drives and Folders Using Registry Tweaks
There are plenty of software which locks drives and folder to protect your confidential data. Why waste money on such tools when you can do it with a simple registry tweak? Here’s how:
Caution: Before you attempt these tweaks, please make sure that you have a backup of your registry, just incase something goes wrong in the middle.
Locking Folders:
Consider you want to lock a folder named XXXX in your E:\, whose path is E:\XXXX.
Now open the Notepad and type the following
ren xxxx xxxx.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
Where xxxx is your folder name. Save the text file as loc.bat in the same drive.
Open another new notepad text file and type the following
ren xxxx.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} xxxx
Save the text file as key.bat in the same drive.
Steps to lock the folder:
To lock the xxxx folder, simply click the loc.bat and it will transform into control panel icon which is inaccessible.
To unlock the folder click the key.bat file. Thus the folder will be unlocked and the contents are accessible.
Locking Drives:
We don’t usually prefer to lock our drives, but sometimes it becomes nesscary. Say for instance you might have stored your office documents in D:\ and you don’t want your kids to access it, in such case this technique can be useful for you. Please don’t try this tweak with your root drive (usually C:\ is the root drive) since root drives are not intended to be locked because they are mandatory for the system and application programs.
Start & Run and type Regedit to open Registry editor
Browse HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
Create a new DWORD value NoViewOnDrive and set its value as
2^ (Alpha Number of Drive Letter-1) where Alpha number are simple counting of alphabets from A to Z as 1 - 26
For example: to lock C:\, Alpha number of C is 3 so 2^ (3-1) = 4 (decimal value)
To lock more drives, calculate the value of each drive and then set sum of those numbers as value
To unlock your drive just delete the key from the registry
